From Spanish Style to Farm House Plans: Marvin Window’s Architect’s Challenge Winners
By: Architectural Visions
With home designs ranging from an ultra-contemporary mountain home in Oregon to a classic rural farmhouse in Maine, the winners in this year’s myMarvin Architect’s Challenge cover a wide variety of styles. The Architect’s Challenge is an annual contest held by Marvin Windows and Doors, and this year for the first time, the competition included an international design, a majestic, four-story villa overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in Sotogrande, Spain.
If you’re looking for house plans or remodeling ideas, the winners of this contest provide everything from faithful historic restoration to completely original creations. The winners are a great source of inspiration and show what’s possible in fine quality architecture.
Winners are chosen based on solution-driven design, classical beauty, innovative use of windows, and sustainability.
